With 27 years of Circuit Court experience, Tangi Carter is a dedicated legal professional committed to fairness, integrity, and justice. As lead counsel in over 1,200 jury trials across two states, she has the experience and expertise needed to serve our community from the bench.

Born and raised in Forrest County. Proud graduate of Forrest County Agricultural High School (1990), the University of Southern Mississippi (1994, B.A. in English), and Mississippi College School of Law (1997, Juris Doctorate).

awards such as the Mississippi Business Journal’s Leaders in Law
Award and the Women Lawyers’ Association’s Outstanding
Lawyer of the Year.

A dedicated member of her community, she is involved in organizations such as the Mississippi Association of Women Lawyers, the South Central Mississippi Bar Association, and the Pine Belt Women’s Business Organization.

Served as an adjunct professor at the University of Southern Mississippi, William Carey University, and Pensacola State College. She frequently speaks at legal conferences across the state.
